The receptionist administrators will always do their best to help visitors to the Health Centre. They have a very demanding job and sometimes have difficulty meeting unrealistic expectations.
They answer the telephone, greet visitors at the reception desk and deal with queries and emergencies from all directions, often all at the same time! You may be asked for information they need to know to help them to ensure that patients see the most appropriate member of staff to deal with their situation. Anything you tell them will be treated in absolute confidence.
All reception administration staff have undergone training in Customer Service, CPR, IT, Clinical Coding, Telephone Technique and attend regular training sessions in the practice to keep up to date in their work.
