Health visitors specialise in the health and wellbeing of children under the age of 5 years. They can often assist if you have a problem with your child. In this way GP appointments, and your time, can be saved. The role of the health visitor is to concentrate on prevention of illness, physical, emotional and mental. They work in partnership with parents to promote healthy living and to protect children. The Health Visitors are based in The Homestead Clinic but still run the clinics in Lupset on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
